About Meditation

There are many different types of meditations. Think of the term “meditation” like the term “sports.”

As each sport exercises different muscles, each type of meditation exercises different parts of one’s self.

There are a diversity of meditation types, just as there are a diversity of sport types.

Finding the right fit for you and your life is important.

The approach to meditation I teach is built on flexibility and ease.

It is a simple, natural, effortless mantra-based meditation that de-excites the mind and body, enabling one to experience deep rest. The mantra is a sound and has no meaning.

You come out of meditation with a more balanced nervous system, feeling refreshed, clearer, and ready to engage.

It is a simple technique designed for people with busy lives.  It is practiced for twenty minutes, twice daily, sitting comfortably with your back supported, with eyes closed.

You can practice this anywhere - in a quiet room, on the train during your commute, on the plane, in an outdoor spot during a hiking adventure… anywhere.

Learning this meditation gives you the hardware of a powerful, ancient awareness technique. You add the software of your own life and who you are.

Though this practice originated from ancient India, it is requires no change in your beliefs. People from all cultures, religions, and backgrounds can practice.

Anyone can learn. All can benefit.
